After Aarya Babbars on 16 th November 2014, the next week nominations were conducted on Monday 17 th November 2014 by Bigg Boss. But in this 9 th Week of Nominations Bigg Boss made a twist by asking the housemates to decide them self and nominated four contestants from the House.  Being a Captain Gautam Gulati was given an immunity as well as he was given power to save two contestants from the House, so Gautam Gulati saved Puneet Issar and Ali Quli Mirza he gave reason saying I am saving both of these contestants as they have done the work whatever I had given them and in back they have never complained or said no to work. As usual Monday 10th November 2014 was Bigg Boss 8 Nomination Special Episode, and this was the 8th week nominations of Bigg Boss 8 but in this nomination process Bigg Boss made a twist by doing open nominations in the garden area to break their groupism in the house. Puneet Issar was not given authority by Bigg Boss to nominate any one as he was in jail but housemates could nominate him, hence the recent wild card entries who entered the house on Friday 7th November 2014 were safe but they were given right to nominate any contestant from the house.
